Job description
Architect the end-to-end Corporate Finance Data Warehouse utilizing Snowflake, dbt, and AWS. Orchestrate data ingestion pipelines with Fivetran to integrate diverse financial source systems. Lead the comprehensive migration and retirement of legacy SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS reporting environments. Build a governed semantic layer in dbt to serve as the single source of truth for Sigma and Power BI. Deploy AI-driven data quality monitoring and column-level lineage to satisfy SOX and audit requirements. Develop reusable data products and knowledge graphs that capture complex financial entity relationships. Direct internal engineers and offshore vendors while establishing best practices for CI/CD and observability. Requirements
10+ years of professional experience in enterprise data architecture and high-scale Snowflake implementations. Proficiency in dbt for engineering complex transformation frameworks and defining unified semantic layers. Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, specifically architecting data lakes and presentation layers. Experience with Fivetran for data ingestion, Change Data Capture (CDC), and schema drift management. Experience in migrating legacy Microsoft BI stacks (SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS) to modern cloud architectures. Experience with Python and SQL for building production-grade data products and automation scripts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for directing cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
