Job description

Implement and support ServiceNow ITSM capabilities including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog Management.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer solutions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
Build, enhance, and support Service Portals and Employee Service Center (ESC) solutions.
Develop integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, Integration Hub, MID Server, and web services.
Create and maintain custom applications utilizing App Engine Studio and ServiceNow Studio.
Design and implement workflow automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and Performance Analytics for business and operational stakeholders.
Troubleshoot ServiceNow platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
Support platform upgrades, patching activities, release management, and adoption of new ServiceNow features.
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards, governance policies, security requirements, and best practices.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, release planning, and technical documentation activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to platform optimization and modernization efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting frameworks.
Proven experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow ITSM modules.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Catalog.
Strong experience developing REST API and SOAP-based integrations.
Knowledge of Service Portal and Employee Service Center (ESC) development.
Experience with App Engine Studio and custom application development.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred, but not required:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
Experience with ServiceNow modules including ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, or SecOps.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and source control management.
Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other large enterprise environments.
