Job description

  • Implement and support ServiceNow ITSM capabilities including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog Management.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer solutions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
  • Build, enhance, and support Service Portals and Employee Service Center (ESC) solutions.
  • Develop integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, Integration Hub, MID Server, and web services.
  • Create and maintain custom applications utilizing App Engine Studio and ServiceNow Studio.
  • Design and implement workflow automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and Performance Analytics for business and operational stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot ServiceNow platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching activities, release management, and adoption of new ServiceNow features.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards, governance policies, security requirements, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, release planning, and technical documentation activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to platform optimization and modernization efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting frameworks.
  • Proven experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow ITSM modules.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Catalog.
  • Strong experience developing REST API and SOAP-based integrations.
  • Knowledge of Service Portal and Employee Service Center (ESC) development.
  • Experience with App Engine Studio and custom application development.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred, but not required:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules including ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, or SecOps.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and source control management.
  • Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other large enterprise environments.
