Job description

As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll help design and build the backend systems that power high-volume payments, digital asset movement and developer-facing services., * Design and build scalable backend services and distributed systems.

Develop secure, high-performance APIs powering payment and digital asset infrastructure.
Improve blockchain infrastructure and core platform services.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams on architecture and technical design.
Integrate with banking and financial technology partners.
Build reliable infrastructure using cloud services, messaging systems and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Drive technical excellence and contribute to engineering best practices across the organization.

Requirements

7+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
Strong experience with Java and Go.
Deep knowledge of distributed systems and microservice architecture.
Experience designing and building production-grade APIs.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Experience with Kubernetes, EKS or ECS.
Strong SQL and database design skills.
Experience in payments, financial infrastructure, blockchain or Web3 is highly valued.
