W2 Role :: Deployment Network Engineer :: Pittsburgh, PA or Memphis, TN (Hybrid)

Seeking an experienced Deployment Network Engineer to support enterprise network tools deployment, migration, monitoring, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience deploying and managing network monitoring platforms, automating network operations, and supporting enterprise-scale networking environments. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize enterprise network monitoring and management platforms.
• Lead network tools deployment and migration initiatives.
• Administer and support network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios, LiveNX, and similar platforms.
• Develop integrations, dashboards, and APIs between network tools and enterprise IT systems.
• Build and maintain automation workflows using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, or similar technologies.
• Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of network tools infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Network Operations, Engineering, and Security teams to establish monitoring and alerting standards.
• Manage log ingestion, SNMP traps, syslogs, and streaming telemetry pipelines.
• Create and maintain documentation, topology diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Recommend enhancements to improve network visibility, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and change management policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Network Tools Deployment & Migration.
• 4+ years of experience in Network Automation.

• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools such as:

• SolarWinds
• Splunk
• Nagios
• LiveNX
• NetBrain
• Cisco DNA Center
• ThousandEyes

• Strong understanding of networking concepts including:

• TCP/IP
• SNMP
• NetFlow
• Syslog
• BGP
• OSPF
• VLANs
• VPNs
• Strong scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Linux administration and REST API integrations.
• Experience monitoring cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

• SolarWinds Certified Professional or similar monitoring certifications.
• Ansible Certified Engineer or equivalent automation certifications.
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins for network automation and CI/CD.
