Job description

  • As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
  • You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
  • You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
  • Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to enhance application functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
  • Document findings and solutions to create a knowledge base for future reference.
  • Participate in continuous learning and development to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

NOTE: Role requires 60% onsite client work in NYC, NJ, or Chicago and client mandated time away, 5 days per quarter

Requirements

  • 5+ years as Python Developer
  • Application Support
  • Candidate should be able to work with little supervision
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Oracle NoSQL Database
  • Advanced proficiency in Application Remediation, Engineering Support, MongoDB, and React.js
  • Associates or bachelors degree

$44 - $54 an hour
