Requirements

8+ years of software testing experience, including proven experience leading complex integration-testing initiatives.
Strong hands-on experience testing ESB, middleware, APIs, microservices, and distributed system integrations.
Hands-on expertise with Playwright and TypeScript, including framework design, test maintenance, and debugging.
Experience with one or more enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, IBM App Connect/Integration Bus, TIBCO, Boomi, or a comparable ESB platform.
Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP services, JSON, XML, message queues, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing.
Proficiency with API-testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, or comparable tools.
Strong SQL skills with experience in backend data validation, log analysis, and root-cause investigation.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery, sprint planning, defect management, test metrics, and release processes.
Proven ability to lead and coordinate onsite/offshore QA teams in a fast-paced delivery environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with product, project, business, and technical stakeholders.
Must be available to work onsite in San Francisco two days per week.
