Job description

Data Engineering - Data Pipeline & Structuring (Tier 1 Priority):

Build systems to systematically extract, clean, and standardize market data from various sources that we received on a recurring basis as excel files or google sheets.

Implement data transformation logic (e.g., versioning, de-duplication, schema enforcement/formatting) to create a single, queryable database.

Develop integrations for common APIs to enable API access to data from certain vendors.

SQL & Tooling - Tooling & Integration Support (Tier 2 Priority):

Write and maintain PLX/SQL scripts to feed the clean data into the planned Market Intel BI Portal and other internal systems.

Data Analysis

Perform chart creation and data verification for Biannual Market Outlook reports and other ad hoc requests.

Requirements

Must-Have skills for the role: 1) Data Pipeline & Structuring 2) Tooling & Integration Support 3) Data Analysis

Nice-to-have skills: 1) Capable in Python / BASH scripting 2) Knowledge of the data center or commercial real estate industry. 3) High degree of proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

Years of experience needed: 5+ years

This role will help build central data pipelines for the Market Intelligence program. The ideal candidate has strong experience in data engineer/analyst focused on ETL/ELT and data transformation. They will be responsible for structuring our disparate market data into a clean, unified, and versioned asset that powers our strategic analysis and self-serve tools.
