The Data Center Security Software Principal Engineer leads applied AI, automation engineering, and systems integration efforts across Fleet’s security technology ecosystem. The role focuses on improving detection fidelity, reducing false alarms, and enhancing operational performance through intelligent automation.

Job Responsibilities:

The candidate will have experience and practical expertise in the following:

The Principal Engineer designs and implements AI-driven video behavior analytics and sensor fusion capabilities to reduce false alarm rates and improve detection accuracy.

The Engineer integrates physical security systems including VMS, access control, PSIM, and environmental sensors into cohesive and scalable architectures.

The Engineer drives automation initiatives that improve SOC efficiency, response time, and system reliability.

The role partners with third-party vendors, OEMs, and internal engineering teams to ensure performance optimization and secure system integration.

Requirements

Education, Professional Certification, and Licenses: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalence

Minimum 10 years of experience in security engineering, AI/ML applications, or systems integration.

Experience in large-scale physical security or critical infrastructure environments.

Strong background in automation, analytics, and software architecture.

Ability to translate operational pain points into engineered solutions.
