nSoftware Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.\n
• Minimum of seven (7) years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\n
• Security Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with polygraph\n, * Experience developing Java enterprise applications using Spring Boot (or similar frameworks) and Angular (or comparable front-end technologies).\n
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating applications with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or other relational databases.\n
• Experience with application modernization, including Spring Boot migrations, microservices, and database modernization initiatives.\n
• Experience developing, deploying, and supporting containerized applications using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes platforms (e.g., Rancher, Amazon EKS, OpenShift).\n
• Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts including Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Persistent Volumes, Helm charts, and cloud-native architectures.\n
• Experience implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevSecOps practices, and modern software delivery processes.\n
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in Agile environments, providing database operational support, and working with XML, JSON, or other structured data formats.\n

• Deploy and support containerized applications in Kubernetes environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.\n
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, technical design, and continuous process improvement.\n
• Develop automated unit and integration tests, support CI/CD pipelines, and maintain technical documentation using Confluence and Jira.\n
• Provide backup database administration support for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB while cross-training across application, database, and deployment technologies to ensure operational continuity.\n, * Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions that shape the future of the application.\n
