Requirements

Do you have experience in Mainframe development?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha, NE or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
  • Experience in Mainframe technologies.
  • Experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, File Handling, CA-7, CICS and Mainframe tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies.
  • Hands on Experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, File Handling, CA-7, CICS and Mainframe tools
  • Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for mainframe development
  • Leverages advanced/proven experience in the mainframe programming language across large and complex implementations and systems.
  • Should be able to read the code and create design specifications.
  • Must be AI Aware and well acquainted with AI terminologies, tools and AI compatibility with mainframe.
  • Experience in leading team in Agile delivery model.
  • Strong communication and Analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Experience in Coding, testing, debugging, implementing and documenting complex global applications., The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
