Designs, implements, maintains, enhances, tests, and supports software. As a Software Engineer II you will be responsible for:

  • Design and implement applications software for surgical robotics product.
  • Utilize development best practices, including continuous software testing.
  • Acquire and maintain domain expertise of relevant software technologies and products.
  • Work with systems engineering & software QA team to assist with generating software requirements, design specifications, and software test methods

Requirements

This position may suit you best ifyou are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your career with Healthineers:

  • Experience with Qt frameworks preferred.
  • Experience with debugging distributed systems utilizing various communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, DTLS, EtherCAT) preferred.
  • Experience with multi-threaded software development preferred.
  • Experience developing medical device software within FDA, ISO, and IEC guideline preferred., * Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical area.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing application software required.
  • Strong C++ skills required.
  • Demonstrated skills in Object-Oriented Design and Analysis, with the use of UML required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams required.
  • Familiarity with agile software development required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% required.

Benefits & conditions

$95,770 - $131,681

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
