Staff Software Engineer, Backend (Ledger Engineering)

• Set long-term technical strategy aligned with impactful business projects
• Collaborate across product development stages to assess technical sustainability and risks

• Manage team operations and system availability through effective monitoring and response strategies

• 8+ years of experience in backend system design and development using Python or Kotlin
• Proven track record with highly available distributed systems on AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes
• Relevant experience in financial systems where data accuracy and reliability are essential
• Ability to deliver significant system features and components through clear technical execution plans
• Familiarity with navigating complex architectures from low-level programming to system-wide perspectives
• Demonstrated history of providing constructive feedback and collaborating effectively with peers
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
