Scrum Master (100% Remote) - 6-8 week project

TEKsystems is seeking experienced Scrum Masters to support a rapidly expanding Air Force software modernization initiative. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing Agile delivery team focused on accelerating the development and delivery of cloud-based applications and mission-critical capabilities.

This is a fully remote, short-term project (6-8 weeks) supporting newly formed software development teams. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who can drive execution, remove obstacles, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and help technical teams remain focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile software development teams through all phases of delivery
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Identify and remove impediments impacting team productivity
• Partner with technical leadership and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of project objectives
• Track team progress and promote continuous improvement
• Foster collaboration across distributed teams in a remote environment
• Guide teams toward achieving clearly defined deliverables within aggressive timelines

6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Project Lead, or similar role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active DoD security clearance
• Proven experience supporting software development teams
• Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum methodologies, Previous hands-on software development experience
• Experience supporting Java-based application development efforts
• Exposure to AWS, DevOps, cloud technologies, or API development
• Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs
