Job description

  • Analyze cyber threats targeting the DODIN and support Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE), providing recommendations to enhance network defense.
  • Provide all-source intelligence analysis and produce cyber intelligence estimates in support of DODIN Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO).
  • Develop reports and assessments on cyber incidents, threat trends, and emerging risks to the DODIN.
  • Conduct indications and warning (I&W) analysis to identify adversary activity and inform leadership of potential cyber threats and operational impacts.
  • Support J2 threat identification and analysis of activity targeting DoD networks and systems.
  • Evaluate intelligence, operational reporting, and open-source information to assess threats, identify network exploitation, and recommend defensive actions.
  • Prepare and deliver intelligence briefings on nation-state and non-state cyber threats, capabilities, and activities affecting DoD networks.
  • Assist in managing and disseminating intelligence reports, bulletins, and classified network content.
  • Coordinate and share intelligence with military, government, and interagency partners to support DODIN defense operations., * Produce cyber threat assessments, intelligence reports, incident analyses, and executive briefings, while evaluating the potential impact of network intrusions.
  • Conduct in-depth research using classified and open-source intelligence resources to identify and assess emerging cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the DoD, Intelligence Community, and private-sector cyber organizations.
  • Apply the intelligence cycle to collect, analyze, and disseminate actionable cyber intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related discipline and 4+ years of experience with cyber threat intelligence analysis
  • Provide intelligence analysis and assessments to support joint military cyber planning efforts, including operational plans, Annex B development, and planning groups.
  • Apply structured analytical methodologies to assess cyber threats, develop and test hypotheses, identify relationships, and support cyber threat attribution.
  • Leverage technical knowledge of TCP/IP networking, system administration, malware analysis, and computer network defense technologies to evaluate cyber activity.
