Software Development Engineer III (ADBL187)

Duties: Serve as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, and testing, to documentation, delivery, and maintenance. Participate in the design, development, implementation, testing and documentation of distributed and highly scalable software applications, tools, systems, and services using Java, Node.js or Object-Oriented Design. Provide design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance, and scalability. Manage resources on multiple technical projects and ensure schedules, milestones, and priorities are compatible with technology and business goals. Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. • Developing secure cloud applications using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policy based authorization
• Integrating security best practices into the development lifecycle, including encryption at-rest and in-transit, role-based access control, or secure API authentication mechanisms
• Deploying and autoscaling AWS Simple Workflow (SWF)-based services using custom scaling policies
• Working with AWS Transcribe and Rekognition services to automate content policy checks on audio and images.

Salary: $189,592 - $250,200/year.
