Job description

Facilitate corporate management efforts to set and reach organizational goals via effective system and procedure development.

  • Collaborate with pharmacy, nursing, emergency, and other clinical units to identify system needs and drive strategic system enhancements for better operational efficiency.
  • Oversee integration and management of clinical applications across facilities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between IT and various clinical departments.
  • Oversee drug formulary management for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Manage comprehensive pharmacy and medication management systems within healthcare information systems.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree and an active Ohio Pharmacist License.

  • A minimum of three years in acute care and retail pharmacy, complemented by four years of expertise in system administration, systems analysis/design, or project management in computer systems.
  • A profound understanding of nursing operations and interdepartmental dynamics.
  • Knowledge of and experience with accreditation protocols.
  • Background in handling large-scale clinical system projects and information system software is essential.
  • Profound Epic certification or hands-on Epic implementation experience.
