  • Design, build, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Integrate applications with government authentication systems, security frameworks, and enterprise services.

  • Implement security controls and best practices to protect applications operating within highly classified environments.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers, data engineers, and cross-functional technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Lead code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and promote software development best practices.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • 8+ years of professional back-end software development experience.

  • Strong experience developing applications using Python, Java, C#, Ruby, Node.js, or similar back-end programming languages.

  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.

  • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.

  • Experience developing cloud-based applications using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Experience using Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.

  • Experience with server-side frameworks such as Django, Spring, or .NET.

  • Strong understanding of application security, secure coding practices, and software development within classified or highly secure environments.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense programs.

  • Experience with signal processing or data analysis applications.

  • Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments.

  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

  • Experience with in-memory data technologies such as Redis or Memcached.

  • Experience designing and developing microservices architectures.

  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

  • Experience developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or similar technologies.
