Job description

We are seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead enterprise data governance initiatives, improve data quality, and support cross-functional data stewardship. This role partners with business and technology teams to establish governance standards, promote data literacy, and ensure trusted, well-managed data across the organization., * Implement and maintain enterprise data governance policies and standards.

Drive data quality, metadata management, and data stewardship initiatives.
Maintain business glossaries, data lineage, and governance documentation.
Partner with business, engineering, analytics, and security teams to support governance initiatives.
Facilitate governance meetings, stakeholder communications, and training programs.
Promote data governance best practices and organizational adoption.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality.
Strong knowledge of metadata management, master data management (MDM), data stewardship, and data governance frameworks.
Experience with governance platforms such as Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, and SQL concepts.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.
CDMP or similar certification preferred.
