Job description

Support software test and verification activities by developing, executing, and leading verification efforts throughout the software development lifecycle. Perform software verification, test planning, issue resolution, and compliance activities while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. Execute automated testing, maintain software lifecycle documentation, and support program milestones for satellite ground software systems., * Support verification development and review of test cases and test procedures while conducting informal and formal Test Readiness Reviews (TRR)

  • Lead the software test team during formal verification of software requirements
  • Direct Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) while maintaining run logs and daily reports
  • Document issues and problem reports encountered during testing using change control tools
  • Report issue burnup charts and verification development status during program management review meetings
  • Track open issues identified during development and testing through closure to support program deliverables
  • Analyze internal and external customer problem reports while serving as an integrator with Flight Software, Satellite Simulation, Ground Systems Engineering, and Ground Software teams
  • Release software lifecycle documentation in accordance with Boeing processes
  • Ensure compliance with software development and verification processes during internal and external quality audits
  • Develop Software Verification Life Cycle documentation
  • Support Change Control Board (CCB) activities related to software verification
  • Plan verification deliverables, including Verification Plans, Requirement Deviations, Requirements, and Test Reports, to support program milestones
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field
  • Demonstrate 9+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and experience
  • Perform 5+ years of experience executing or leading automated, functional, and end-to-end testing activities
  • Apply 5+ years of experience throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration, and Test
  • Utilize 3+ years of experience developing software using Java, C++, or Python
  • Work within Agile software development and DevOps methodologies
  • Develop software using C++

  • Execute automated testing capabilities
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience serving as a Product Owner, Technical Lead, or Integration & Test Lead for government programs
  • Understanding of Command and Control (C2) systems and real-time applications
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, ActiveMQ, and CCSDS technologies
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms
  • Knowledge of deriving, allocating, and tracing system, subsystem, and software requirements throughout the product lifecycle
  • Ability to design automated software tests, execute automated testing, manage test data, track results, and improve software quality
  • Experience leading Formal Qualification Tests (FQT), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
  • Active TS/SCI or DoD Top Secret clearance
