Contract Full Stack Software Engineer

You’ll be working on customer-facing products that support thousands of users, helping to deliver new features, improve platform performance and build scalable solutions using a modern JavaScript stack. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced, agile environment., As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be involved across the full development lifecycle, contributing to both greenfield development and enhancements to existing products.

You’ll be:

• Building scalable web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Developing responsive front ends with React
• Creating backend services and REST APIs using Node.js
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
• Contributing to architecture discussions and technical improvements
• Improving application performance, scalability and reliability

Experience with GraphQL, Kubernetes or microservices would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

About You

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer
• Excellent JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge across both frontend and backend development
• Experience working within agile delivery teams
• A proactive approach and the ability to hit the ground running
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business
