Application Programmer

• Analyze, design, develop, enhance and support applications that integrate with existing business components
• Develop and support new project requirements, including coordinating with the business to understand requirements and analyze potential impacts
• Perform comprehensive analysis of application and process issues, including problem identification and coordination with support teams
• Regularly communicate work progress with management, identifying and resolving issues quickly
• Gather and interpret data requirements, perform research and analysis, and develop data sourcing and transaction monitoring solutions

This role involves analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting applications that integrate with existing business components. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development using SAS, Teradata, and Unix scripting, with a strong understanding of banking products and operational processes. Knowledge of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) domain is a significant advantage., * Experience in software development using SAS, Teradata, Python, SQL, and Unix scripting

• Good knowledge of banking products, operational processes, and end-to-end transaction flows
• Ability to learn business processes and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks
• Excellent organization and team skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills across technical, business, and leadership areas

Desired skills:

• Experience in Spark and Hadoop
• Knowledge in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) domain
