IT Application Engineer

• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement features, upgrades, migrations, and integrations for ALM applications.
• Monitor application performance using established practices and methods to ensure optimal operation.
• Manage workflows, change management processes, approvals, sign-offs, and in-application configurations to meet stakeholder needs.
• Support the development and support of custom integrations using Java and Python, evaluating new tools and services.
• Create dashboards and live reports to support engineering and management requirements using Velocity and JavaScript.

Our client, a leading organization in the automotive and technology industry, is seeking a dedicated IT Application Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an IT Application Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT Applications team supporting their Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Development experience in Java, JavaScript, Velocity, and Python.
• Experience working with Polarion within regulated industries (medical device, aerospace, financial, automotive, etc.) is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility, eagerness to learn, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and technical challenges.
