Job description

As an Oracle Developer/Administrator in our newly formed solutions group, you will combine hands-on Oracle APEX and PL/SQL development with Oracle database administration support.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL & JavaScript.
  • Develop database-driven solutions and RESTful API integrations.
  • Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
  • Document software components to ensure long-term maintainability.
  • Support database administration including monitoring, backup/recovery, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Serve as backup to the Senior DBA when required.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

This position has a hybrid work schedule with 3 days per week (Tue, Wed & Thu) on-site in our Seattle office.

Our software development team builds secure, end-to-end solutions with a strong emphasis on high-quality code. We’re seeking a talented Oracle Developer/Administrator well versed in Oracle APEX and PL/SQL development. In this hybrid role, the ideal candidate has a proven track record of solving complex technical problems and is eager to grow into broader responsibilities in database architecture and enterprise systems., * Experienced. 3+ years’ experience in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and database development and administration

  • Educated. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3-5 years of experience; OR associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledgeable. Experience in Oracle APEX UI development, JavaScript, AJAX, RESTful APIs & foundational knowledge of Oracle database administration concepts
  • Skilled. Strong PL/SQL and SQL coding, including the ability to write & troubleshoot complex queries & stored procedures
  • Problem Solver. Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
  • Communicator. Clear & effective communicator with strong interpersonal relationship skills
