Job description
The IT Support Analyst provides technical support and maintains IT systems that support both corporate operations and field-based power generation projects. This role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient technology services, including end-user support, network connectivity, and operational technology (OT) systems critical to energy infrastructure. What You’ll Do:
- Deliver Tier 1-2 support for hardware, software, and network issues across office and field environments
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory and related tools
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity (LAN/WAN/VPN), including remote job sites and substations
- Support and maintain systems related to power operations, including SCADA and other industrial applications
- Ensure system uptime and performance for business-critical and operational technology systems
- Apply security protocols and assist with compliance efforts (e.g., NERC CIP standards)
- Assist with system patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery processes
- Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations
- Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and field personnel to support business operations
- Provide technical support at remote sites as needed, including occasional travel
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of IT support or help desk experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
- Experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, routers, switches)
- Familiarity with industrial systems (SCADA, OT environments) preferred
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices; knowledge of NERC CIP is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in both office and field environments
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
