Job description

  • Lead platform bring-up and system debug across server, client, and emerging compute platforms, including BIOS, firmware, memory training, and system stability
  • Develop and implement memory validation plans to assess performance, compatibility, reliability, and platform readiness
  • Drive failure analysis and root cause investigations, documenting findings, corrective actions, and readiness risks
  • Partner with engineering, product, quality, and program teams to resolve technical issues and support product readiness
  • Leverage automation, scripting, data analysis, and AI-assisted workflows to improve validation efficiency and coverage
  • Align internal teams and external platform partners on priorities, debug status, risks, and corrective actions
  • Present validation results and technical findings to engineering, program, and customer-facing partners
  • Perform hands-on lab validation using hardware platforms, diagnostic tools, and structured debug methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware validation, system test, platform bring-up, firmware validation, semiconductor engineering, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, processors, memory subsystems, firmware interaction, operating systems, and platform validation
  • Hands-on experience with hardware debug, diagnostic tools, issue tracking, and maintaining user documentation
  • Experience with scripting or programming for automation and data analysis, such as Python, C, C++, C#, or SQL, * Experience with DRAM, memory modules, memory controllers, BIOS interaction, or memory subsystem validation
  • Experience validating Intel, AMD, ARM-based, or embedded platforms in Linux, Windows, or UEFI environments
  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, power measurement equipment, or similar diagnostic tools
  • Experience applying AI tools to improve automation, data analysis, documentation, or engineering workflows
  • Proven ability to lead complex debug efforts, drive technical resolution, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
