Job description
This position is part of a long-term international service for a global company in the retail sector.
The role combines strong functional expertise in SAP SD with Business Analyst responsibilities. You will work directly with business stakeholders, translate their needs into viable SAP solutions, and take ownership of implementation from requirements through go-live., * Meet with international business stakeholders to understand their needs and propose SAP implementation options.
- Define, document, and obtain approval for functional requirements and sales process designs.
- Design and perform SAP SD functional configuration, including pricing procedures when required.
- Work with intercompany scenarios, mass data uploads through files or IDocs, and integrations with finance processes.
- Prepare and execute functional testing.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and testing progress.
- Coordinate with integration teams, web application teams, finance teams, and other technical or functional areas.
- Identify and resolve blockers, escalating them when necessary.
- Take end-to-end functional ownership of assigned initiatives.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in SAP SD, with five or more years as the usual reference.
- Hands-on experience in SAP implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, sales documents, data models, and SAP SD functional configuration.
- Practical experience with pricing procedures.Understanding of the integration between sales processes and finance.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage requirements, validation, functional design, configuration, testing, and coordination independently.
- Advanced business and technical English, equivalent in practice to C1 level.
- Ability to lead meetings, discuss requirements, and explain sales documents and processes in English.
- Availability to work from the Madrid office six days per month, according to the team calendar., * Experience with intercompany scenarios.
- Experience with mass data uploads using files or IDocs.
- Exposure to integrations with finance, integration, or web application teams.
- Experience in international retail environments, brand management, or digital sales channels.
- Exposure to projects involving new sales channels, payment gateways, marketplaces, or digital platforms.
- Knowledge of logistics processes or SAP SD and SAP MM integration., * Ownership and accountability for results.
- Initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and delivery-tracking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Early identification and escalation of blockers.
- Long-term commitment and stability.
- Ability to work across different brands, markets, and international teams.
