SAP Basis & Security Consultant

As a SAP Basis & Security Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise SAP landscapes. You will oversee SAP Basis services delivered by external partners, optimize infrastructure, manage SAP security and authorizations, and contribute to the evolution of modern SAP ecosystems including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud., * Manage and oversee the outsourced SAP Basis service, ensuring quality delivery and SLA compliance.

• Define and implement continuous improvement initiatives for SAP infrastructure and platform performance.
• Challenge external providers by proposing technical improvements and optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate SAP S/4HANA upgrades, support packages and patch deployments.
• Administer users, roles and authorizations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Identify and mitigate security risks related to SAP authorizations and Segregation of Duties.
• Support the implementation and governance of SAP security best practices, including SAP GRC where applicable.
• Monitor SAP license usage and ensure compliance with licensing policies.
• Collaborate closely with Architecture, Delivery and Infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and secure SAP operations.

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and SAP Security.
• Strong knowledge of SAP user administration, roles and authorizations across SAP GUI and SAP Fiori.
• Experience managing SAP services, external vendors and SLA governance.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Good understanding of SAP infrastructure, performance monitoring and system optimization.
• Experience coordinating SAP upgrades, patches and lifecycle activities.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills, business mindset and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP GRC and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
• Background as a SAP Basis Administrator within enterprise environments.
• Infrastructure and systems administration experience.
• Knowledge of SAP sizing and capacity planning.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience reviewing SAP license compliance.
