Job description
Uber for Business is looking for a strategic, hands-on Mid-Market Sales Manager to lead and scale our high-performing sales organization. This isnât a role for someone who wants to manage from a distance; itâs for a leader who thrives on the front lines, navigating the ambiguity of a fast-growing segment and turning complex business challenges into movement. You will be responsible for a team of Account Executives focused on acquiring new customers and expanding our footprint through both Rides and Eats solutions.
The stakes are high and the pace is relentless. Youâll need to balance the grit required for cold outreach and deal-closing with the sophistication needed to navigate C-level negotiations and cross-functional internal politics. We are looking for a self-starter who values ownership, adapts quickly to shifting market dynamics, and is energized by the âmessyâ reality of building a sales engine from the ground up. If you are a resilient leader who can coach a team to win while keeping the customer at the center of every decision, this is where youâll grow.
What youâll do
- Recruit, coach, and mentor a team of Account Executives, setting clear expectations and driving a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Develop and operationalize a go-to-market strategy to acquire and grow Mid-Market clients, ensuring alignment with regional revenue goals.
- Quarterback high-stakes C-level meetings, actively listening to business pain points and tailoring Uberâs platform to solve real-world logistics and employee needs.
- Manage and report an accurate sales forecast and pipeline, holding the team accountable to monthly and quarterly targets through rigorous process discipline.
- Navigate internal complexity by partnering with Operations, Product, and Legal teams to unblock deals and streamline the customer onboarding experience.
- Represent Uber for Business at industry forums and events, building the brand and identifying new strategic partnership opportunities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience (e.g., SaaS, Corporate Travel, or Logistics).
- Native level of Spanish and fluent English
- 3+ years of experience directly leading and coaching a sales team.
- Proven track record of managing a multi-stage sales pipeline and consistently exceeding revenue quotas.
- Experience engaging with and influencing C-suite executives.
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent professional experience., * Experience closing complex, non-traditional deals such as API integrations or voucher systems.
- Strong proficiency in sales tools including Salesforce, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Ability to use data-driven insights to identify market trends and optimize the sales lifecycle.
- Resilience and a growth mindset, with a history of navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Ready to Ride?
This isnât the kind of place where you follow a playbook - itâs where you help write one. If youâre driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves - weâd love to hear from you.
