Senior Software Engineer

Our engineers are responsible for developing state-of-the-art features/capabilities for our cloud-based platforms. In collaboration with the product teams and stakeholders they will be responsible for driving and enabling the development and architecture strategy.

What You Will Do

• Build and support our backend systems by designing, writing and testing new features and functionality through Java (Spring Framework), Node.js, and cloud infrastructure components
• Maintain resilient, secure and performant solutions able to serve tens of thousands of daily requests through a multiservice architecture
• Improve existing systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects
• Suggest and contribute to integrate new techniques, technologies, and improvements to the team
• Collaborate with other team members and mentor junior engineers

• 4+ years of experience building and deploying backend systems
• Work eligibility in the Netherlands
• Strong proficiency with Java (Spring Boot) or JavaScript (Node.js)
• Experience working with Relational Databases
• Experience designing, implementing, and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with cloud-based applications (AWS, GCP, Azure, or SAP BTP)
• Experience with enterprise software is preferred
• Knowledgeable on software architectural patterns, able to mentor others
• Great written and verbal communication in English
• Desire to work in an international and collaborative environment
• Demonstrate continual desire to learn and stay up to date with technology
