We’re looking for someone with a strong background in developing data governance policies, controls, processes and standards, alongside experience of improving the quality, consistency and usability of complex operational or regulatory datasets. You’ll also have a track record of translating business, policy or regulatory needs into practical governance solutions and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams., * Strong background in creating and maintaining data management/governance policies, controls, processes, and standards. • Experience improving the quality, consistency and usability of complex operational or regulatory datasets, including embedding new frameworks and ways of working into business-as-usual.
• Experience translating business, policy or regulatory needs into prioritised data or governance deliverables that support operational delivery and decision-making.
• Ability to work across policy, analytical, digital and technical teams to turn data governance requirements into practical solutions that support decision-making., * Changing and Improving

As Ofgem transforms the way it uses data, we’re looking for a Senior Manager Data Governance to lead the development of the governance, standards and frameworks needed to support smarter regulation and better decision-making.
