This role sits within the Power Platform Team of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for Operations unit (DS&AI). A diverse multi-disciplinary team at the centre of VOÂ’ Digital Transformation supporting operational teams across the business to tackle real operational problems with a measurable impact. We have bold plans to unlock the value of data in the Valuation Office, and you will be at the heart of this, contributing to the teamÂ’s vision of finding practical solutions to solve operational problems utilising data science, artificial intelligence and the Power Platform.
The Power Platform team is responsible for fulfilling user requirements with by designing and building solutions utilising Power Platform tools, especially focusing on the use of Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio. As a Power Platform Developer, youÂ’ll be supporting the Power Platform Lead in delivering solutions utilising the Power Platform tools, including creating project scopes, designing and building solutions, testing and validation against acceptance criteria and helping land the solution with operational users, and maintaining built solutions as live products., * Develop software solutions using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to meet user needs and organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with your team to provide accurate estimates for user stories, tasks, and requirements, ensuring timely delivery of features.
- Follow best practice guidelines for development and actively contribute to improving those standards within the team and wider community.
- Write clean, secure, and well-tested code that adheres to organisational and industry standards.
- Operate and maintain the services you build, proactively identifying and resolving issues in production environments.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure solutions align with business goals and user expectations.
- Participate in and contribute to the team and the Power Platform community of practice, through initiatives such as knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, or other activities that support professional growth., A Personal Statement (maximum 750 words) please outline your suitability for the role. Proficiency in developing applications using Power Apps, Power Automate with a strong understanding of data modelling and integration with Microsoft Dataverse or other data sources.

- Proficiency in developing applications using Power Apps, Power Automate with a strong understanding of data modelling and integration with Microsoft Dataverse or other data sources.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices, such as unit testing, automated workflows, and version control using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
- Knowledge of modern development frameworks and patterns relevant to Power Platform and low-code environments, such as component-based design and reusable templates.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose and implement a range of technical solutions and process improvements to meet user needs.
- Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of operating and supporting live services, including monitoring and troubleshooting using observability tools such as Power Platform Admin Centre, Application Insights, or similar monitoring solutions.
