Job description

· Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and backend systems.

· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

· Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

· Develop APIs, system integrations, and reusable modules to improve application functionality.

· Troubleshoot software defects, performance bottlenecks, and system issues.

· Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

· Work with databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.

· Implement security controls, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding practices.

· Support deployment activities, release management, and production monitoring.

· Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and system changes.

· Stay updated with emerging programming tools, frameworks, and software engineering trends.

Requirements

· Proven experience in software development with strong problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar.

· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

· Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.

· Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations.

· Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control workflows.

· Understanding of software testing methodologies, debugging, and performance optimization.

· Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial.

· Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical thinking skills.

Benefits & conditions

Pay: £40,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
