Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) who enjoys solving complex technical problems and turning business requirements into clean, maintainable software. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop applications that are secure, scalable, and easy to use.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software applications that meet business and customer requirements.

Technical Ownership: Take responsibility for assigned features and services from technical planning and implementation through testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

System Design: Contribute to application architecture, API design, database structures, integrations, and other technical decisions.

Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Participate in code reviews and help improve development standards across the engineering team.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, QA specialists, and fellow developers to turn requirements into practical technical solutions.

Troubleshooting: Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions that improve system reliability and performance.

Experience: 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong experience developing and maintaining production applications.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of software development fundamentals, object-oriented or functional programming, APIs, databases, version control, testing, and modern development workflows.

Development Experience: Experience with technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Vue, Node.js, Java, Python, C#, or comparable modern programming frameworks.

Cloud and Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring, or other modern deployment practices is highly valued.

Problem Solving: You approach technical challenges methodically and can balance long-term engineering quality with practical delivery requirements.

Communication: You can explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a collaborative team.

Mindset: You are curious, pragmatic, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership. You know when a solution needs deeper engineering and when a simple, reliable approach is the better choice.
