SAP ePPDS Consultant - Long Term

Configure and tune the SAP ePP/DS scheduling optimizer to generate executable finite schedules across a 4-8 week horizon Translate business sequencing rules - setup reduction, campaign planning, cleaning/changeover, allergen constraints - into optimizer logic Model critical bottleneck resources, including tank capacities, intermediate storage, and other constrained equipment Build planner-facing views: resource-wise schedules, capacity utilization, order sequencing, and bottleneck/overload visibility Configure alert monitoring (date-time, network, and custom alerts) and support simulation/what-if planning scenarios Support exception management workflows, including manual override and re-sequencing of optimizer-generated schedules Partner with ABAP and integration (CIDS) resources on data flows between demand/inventory sources and PP/DS

Required:

5+ years of hands-on SAP PP/DS configuration and implementation experience, including at least one full scheduling optimizer build Solid grasp of production planning fundamentals: BOM/PDS, production versions, capacities, setup matrices, and consumption-based planning Experience integrating PP/DS with upstream demand sources (IBP or equivalent) and downstream execution Comfortable working independently Strong written and spoken English; able to document functional specs and lead configuration walkthroughs
