Job description
We are expecting this placement to last 2 - 3 months however it may change due to service need.
What you’ll be responsible for:
To assist the Non-Medical Rostering Team with the centralised management of annual leave entitlement.
Input and update data on the eRoster system and ESR system in line with established procedures.
Act as first point of contact to users for annual leave entitlement.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on ESR and/or eRoster in line with instructions and local procedures.
Report data errors or system issues to senior team members for resolution
Respond to enquiries from staff and managers by email or telephone, providing clear and courteous information within agreed guidelines
Refer complex or non-standard queries to senior team members for resolution.
Maintain confidentiality at all times when handling personal and sensitive information in accordance with Trust policy and data protection requirements
Requirements

An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
Knowledge of ESR and eRoster
Strong organisational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Previous Experience
Experience of providing a high standard of customer service, ideally in a role involving regular communication with staff or public
Experience of working in an administrative role within a busy office environment
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience of using databases, spreadsheets and other digital systems to manage and record information accurately.
