Mobile Application Developer - iOS & Android

Balboa Travel is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to build, launch, and maintain customer-facing applications for both iOS and Android. This position will be responsible for mobile development, testing, app-store releases, updates, and ongoing support across both platforms. This is a hands-on development role for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for delivering reliable mobile applications., * Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android.

• Build native or cross-platform mobile features based on project needs.
• Integrate the applications with Balboa’s portal, APIs, authentication services, and other systems.
• Support secure sign-in, session management, deep links, push notifications, downloads, file sharing, and other mobile capabilities.
• Test applications across supported devices and operating-system versions.
• Troubleshoot crashes, performance issues, authentication problems, and platform-specific defects.
• Manage releases and updates through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Maintain signing certificates, provisioning profiles, release credentials, store listings, screenshots, privacy disclosures, and release notes.
• Monitor platform and app-store requirements and make updates as needed.
• Maintain clear technical and release documentation.
• Work with Balboa’s development and infrastructure teams on application integrations and production releases.

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, or OpenID Connect.
• Experience with push notifications, deep linking, biometric authentication, or secure document handling.
• Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and application monitoring.
• Experience supporting mobile applications connected to an existing customer portal.
• Familiarity with AWS-hosted applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile builds.
• Experience working in travel technology or another integration-heavy environment.
