Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled IT Executive to lead our technology initiatives, ensuring the seamless operation, security, and advancement of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will oversee server management, network security, disaster recovery planning, and systems engineering to support our organizational goals. Your expertise will drive innovation, optimize system performance, and safeguard our digital assets. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader passionate about leveraging technology to empower business success., * Manage and maintain server environments including Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to ensure high availability and performance.

  • Implement and monitor information security protocols, including firewall configurations, network security measures, and access controls to protect organizational data.
  • Oversee network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Cisco routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, IIS, and VPNs to ensure reliable connectivity across all departments.
  • Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss during unforeseen events.
  • Lead technical support efforts by troubleshooting hardware/software issues and providing desktop support using remote access software and Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Supervise a team of IT professionals; coordinate project management activities using ServiceNow or Jira to deliver IT solutions on time and within scope.
  • Conduct analysis of system performance metrics with tools like SolarWinds to identify areas for improvement and implement upgrades or new solutions accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL standards for service management while maintaining documentation for network support activities.
  • Collaborate on network engineering projects involving Cisco routers, firewalls, Azure services, and software development initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to translate technical concepts into clear business insights while demonstrating leadership in managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in server management, systems engineering, and network support within a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or management experience leading IT teams or projects successfully.
  • Strong background in information security practices including firewall management and network security protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation across diverse IT environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure along with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere.
  • Proficiency in computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN design, Cisco routers/switches, DHCP/DNS configurations, and remote access solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise tools such as SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor, ServiceNow for service management, Jira for project tracking, Microsoft SQL Server for database management, and SharePoint for collaboration.
  • Excellent analysis skills combined with organizational prowess to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills paired with leadership qualities necessary for supervising teams and coordinating cross-departmental initiatives.
