Applause IT is recruiting on behalf of an innovative UK software company developing its own cloud-native, AI-powered SaaS platform. Their technology enables organisations to deliver seamless customer experiences across voice, digital channels, AI, automation and workforce management, serving customers across the UK and internationally.

As investment in the platform continues and the engineering team grows, they are looking to appoint a Cloud Platform Engineer to help scale and evolve the infrastructure behind a modern, high-availability SaaS platform.

This is an opportunity to join a product-focused engineering team where you’ll work with modern cloud technologies, influence the future of the platform, and play a key role in delivering reliable, secure and scalable services.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for the cloud infrastructure that underpins a rapidly evolving software platform, working closely with software engineers to ensure services remain resilient, secure and highly available.

This isn’t simply an operational support role. You’ll help shape the evolution of the cloud platform, improve automation, strengthen observability, and contribute to the ongoing scalability of a growing SaaS product used by organisations worldwide.

If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, working with cloud-native technologies and helping engineering teams deliver high-quality software, this role offers an excellent opportunity to make a genuine impact.
