Data Analytics & AI, Senior Consultant - Project Manager

Avaap is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Data, Analytics & AI team that serves as a project manager, team leader, and drives data modernization projects to a successful outcome. An individual in this role drives successful data project delivery from inception to completion and builds/maintains strong client relationships., * Manages Data, Analytics and AI client relationships and engagements that are significant in size, scope, complexity, revenue, and/or strategic value

• Develop detailed project plans to deliver on the agreed upon scope of work for data, analytics and AI projects and ensure project is delivered according to the project plan
• Maintains accountability for quality of delivery meeting or exceeding customer requirements
• Ensures that work produced is consistent with contract requirements, that project margins are managed and projects are staffed properly
• Serves as a point of escalation for client delivery assurance
• Manage project teams that include technical and functional resources and provide clear direction and tasks for the team deliver effectively
• Manage project status, risk and escalations and communicate with client stakeholders
• Manage client project stakeholders and client dependencies to ensure project timelines are met
• Creative problem solving on complex projects to resolve issues and remove blockers to ensure project timelines are met
• Lead client-facing presentations and conversations with client leadership, project sponsors and other key client stakeholders to share project updates

Do you have experience in Project contract management?, * 5 years of experience in leading large/complex data-driven projects and project teams in a client-facing capacity from inception through completion while ensuring customer satisfaction and all scope/requirements are met

• Knowledge of modern data, analytics, and AI technologies, solutions, methodologies and best practices
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines to align with contractual obligations
• Experience and comfortability overseeing multiple projects at a time
• Consulting delivery experience with demonstrated ability to set strategy, success criteria and scope for clients and then ensure project teams deliver client solutions to meet those needs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences, both internal and external
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills consistent with consulting uses

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data, analytics and/or AI related technical experience and/or certifications
• Experience leading client engagements and/or projects involving data modernization initiatives and/or modern cloud data platforms, * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration.
• Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations.
• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.

• Base Salary Range is 110,000 - 155,000 plus 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
