Broker Development Relationship Manager

The Senior Vice President of Broker Development is responsible for achieving volume targets through outbound efforts to expand the company portfolio and broker database. In addition, there is an expectation to maintain and grow existing relationships., * Identify, recruit, and onboard high-quality commercial mortgage brokers that create mutually beneficial partnerships that align with Apex’s lending appetite.

• Maintain strong, long-term relationships with brokers, providing them with support to drive loan volume.
• Produce a minimum of $20mm/yr in new money originations.
• Work with the Chief Lending Officer to monitor broker performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Effectively work across departments to ensure a seamless borrower and broker experience.
• Travel required to develop relationships and build the Apex brand., * Provide timely and consistent communication to brokers and borrowers.
• Maintain company database with accurate and relevant information.
• Monitor market changes and elevate applicable information to the Chief Lending Officer.
• Provide motivation, mentoring and further training and education of company products and industry standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to travel as needed for networking events., * 10+ years of sales experience in a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and balance time sensitive priorities.
• Excellent work ethic, including accountability, sense of urgency, and ability to solve problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills working with colleagues, clients, and management.
