Job description

  • Develop and maintain Vericut simulation models to accurately represent complex machining processes
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to optimize toolpaths and reduce cycle times using Vericut software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and simulation discrepancies
  • Integrate Vericut outputs with other CAD/CAM systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
  • Support system design for scalable manufacturing solutions by leveraging best practices in software engineering and system architecture
  • Contribute to the development of automation scripts and workflows using scripting languages such as Python or Ruby on Rails
  • Participate in Agile software development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely project delivery

We are seeking a highly skilled Vericut Programmer to join our dynamic engineering team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of optimizing CNC machining processes through advanced simulation and programming. Your expertise will drive efficiency, precision, and innovation in manufacturing operations. You will develop, test, and refine Vericut simulation models to ensure seamless integration with our production workflows, contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing capabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation., * Proven experience with Vericut software for CNC simulation and verification in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and system design for scalable systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, and JavaScript frameworks for application development and web development
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, design patterns, and version control tools like GitHub, SVN, or Git
  • Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server for data management and analysis
  • Understanding of software development methodologies including Agile practices like Scrum or Kanban, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles
  • Knowledge of industry standards in software engineering, APIs, scalability considerations, and system security (RBAC)
  • Bonus skills include experience with Quantum engineering concepts, front-end development frameworks like React Express, VBA scripting, Linux environments,.NET framework, C++, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React), and programming for web applications

Benefits & conditions

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
