Job description

Aveon Health is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy IT Support / AI Technology & Office Maintenance Assistant to help support our growing medical practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, troubleshooting, automation, and using AI to improve workplace efficiency.

We’re looking for someone who can assist with everyday IT needs while also helping our team leverage modern AI tools to streamline workflows and increase productivity. Responsibilities

IT Support

  • Set up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, monitors, phones, and other office equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, internet, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide technical support to employees for common technology issues.
  • Install software updates and assist with maintaining office technology.
  • Coordinate with third-party IT vendors for advanced technical issues.
  • Maintain inventory of computers, peripherals, and office technology.

AI & Technology Support

  • Assist with implementing and optimizing AI tools to improve office efficiency.
  • Research emerging AI platforms and recommend practical solutions for the practice.
  • Help staff utilize AI applications such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and other productivity tools.
  • Create and maintain AI prompts, templates, and simple automation workflows.
  • Identify repetitive tasks that can be streamlined through automation.
  • Stay current on new technology trends and recommend improvements that increase productivity.

Office Maintenance

  • Perform minor handyman tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, assembling furniture, mounting TVs or monitors, and hanging office equipment.
  • Set up and relocate employee workstations.
  • Assist with basic office repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs requiring specialized services.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and functional office environment.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Windows computers, Microsoft 365, printers, and networking.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable learning new software and technologies independently.
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks., * Previous IT support or help desk experience.
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering or workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or similar automation platforms.
  • Experience supporting technology in a healthcare or small business environment.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, or cloud-based systems.
