Senior Geospatial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Geospatial Analyst to lead the development, analysis, and visualization of complex geospatial data. In this dynamic role, you will leverage advanced GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software and programming skills to inform critical investment decisions. Your expertise will drive development of suitability models, geospatial overlays, multi-criteria assessments, and nationwide spatial evaluations to identify investment locations. Join us to contribute to impactful projects that shape decision-making and improve public safety through cutting-edge geospatial technology., * Perform advanced geospatial analysis to support nationwide mobile broadband coverage reinvestment activities, including development of suitability models, geospatial overlays, multi-criteria assessments, and nationwide spatial evaluations to identify optimal locations.

• Manage, process, and analyze large ArcGIS datasets, including the use of scripts, automation, and advanced geoprocessing tools to efficiently handle significant spatial and tabular data inputs.
• Produce technically accurate maps, layers, models, and documentation packages to support engineering, business, and investment decision-making across multi-state and national public safety programs.
• Integrate crowdsourced datasets, Radio Access Network (RAN)-derived inputs, and third-party GIS sources to develop insights that guide location identification, prioritization, and justification.
• Solve complex geospatial data challenges by developing, validating, and refining data processing workflows for large datasets, ensuring data integrity, repeatability, and auditability.
• Support the development and maintenance of geospatial standards, quality controls, and version-controlled geodatabase structures consistent with FirstNet Authority analytic expectations.
• Provide expert recommendations to program leadership, engineering SMEs, and investment teams based on geospatial analyses, spatial trends, and model outputs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of customer investment decision model and related spatial tools by validating assumptions, reviewing inputs, and identifying improvements to strengthen investment analytics.

• U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass Department of Commerce public trust background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 9 years of professional experience, including 8+ years of Geographic Information Systems analyst experience.
• Experience using ArcGIS Suitability Modelling on a nationwide basis to identify the best locations that are most likely to meet a specified goal.
• Experience using ArcGIS, data management, and using scripts to process large databases supporting Geographic Information Systems.
• Experience using crowdsource data to produce useful insights in support of guiding investment activities.
• Demonstrate relevant knowledge and experience with a multi-state and/or national public safety communications program or project.
• Demonstrate experience in problem solving when handling large datasets within ArcGIS., * Strong project management skills and experience
• Familiarity with telecommunications network data
• Prior consulting or program support experience with federal, state, or local public safety programs., * Geographic Information Systems analyst: 8 years (Preferred)
