Job description

The Programmer Analyst at Virginia Vital Events and Screening Tracking System (VVESTS) will play a crucial role in the data modernization of vital statistics and vital records related projects. The primary focus will be on migrating PLSQL Web toolkit modules to Oracle APEX, ensuring the security of sensitive data and compliance with HIPPA regulations., * Migrate PLSQL Web toolkit modules to Oracle APEX

  • Develop and maintain secure web applications for handling sensitive data
  • Utilize the latest web technologies, JavaScript/jQuery frameworks, Templates, and CSS styles
  • Ensure compliance with HIPPA regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to web applications

Requirements

  • Oracle 11g/18c/19c database - 5 years of experience
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL experience - 5 years of experience
  • JavaScript OR jQuery - 5 years of experience
  • Oracle APEX - 5 years of experience

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle PL/SQL web toolkit - 2 years of experience (Highly desired)
  • RESTful and SOAP Web services - 2 years of experience (Desired)
