Job description
The Single-Family division within Freddie Mac is searching for creative individuals to join our organization. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in statistical analysis, quantitative problem solving, and data-driven decision making. Successful candidates will demonstrate curiosity, strong communication skills, and an eagerness to learn how emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, can enhance business outcomes.
Our Single-Family College Analyst Cohort program is crafted to ease the transition of college into the workforce by providing skills training and mentorship programs, as well as in-class learning opportunities with senior leadership.
Our Impact:
- Single-Family relies on data analysis, quantitative modeling, and emerging technologies to support business decisions, risk management, and operational effectiveness.
- We provide data governance capabilities that help teams find, understand, and use data effectively across product, project, and delivery efforts.
- We support credit risk strategy, policy implementation, performance monitoring, and loan lifecycle analysis through data-driven insights.
Your Impact:
- Document well written User Stories based on communication, discussion, meetings.
- Support day to day operations, and projects by performing impact analysis, UAT testing, data analysis/lineage, and other technical/business support.
- Work with teammates to clarify the requirements and scope and test developed solutions to ensure accurate business outcomes
- Create process flows and dependencies for data availability
- Support monthly business process and executive reporting and metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Quantitative Analytics, Quantitative Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Graduation in December 2026 or May 2027 with availability to begin full-time employment in January 2027 or June 2027.
- Coursework, internships, or projects demonstrating statistical analysis, quantitative modeling, data analytics, or programming experience are preferred.
- Exposure to AI tools and AI-enabled productivity solutions is preferred.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize ideas clearly and explain analytical findings effectively.
- Solid foundation in statistical analysis, quantitative problem solving, data analysis, and data-driven methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Self-driven, curious, eager to learn, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits & conditions

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $63,000 - $95,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
