IT Technician

Spectrum Software Technology (SST) is seeking experienced IT Technicians to support our Civil Aviation Programs as part of our Tech Refresh Team. This role provides hands-on technical support for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) facilities nationwide and requires strong hardware experience and some Linux knowledge., * Perform hardware installations and technical support for FAA Centers, TRACONs, and Towers

• Install and configure servers according to site-specific requirements
• Set up, install, and configure printers, routers, and switches
• Perform network updates in technology labs supporting the TFMS Tech Refresh Project
• Monitor, test, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Provide systems administration and end-user support
• Support server hardware, operating systems, and network equipment

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field with min 2+ years of experience, or 4+ years of relevant IT experience
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and installation skills
• Working knowledge of routers, switches, and networking equipment
• Basic to intermediate Linux experience
• General IT support and systems administration experience
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Ability to work onsite in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required, * IT: 2 years (Required)
