Power BI & Azure Reporting Data Platform Developer

Job Title: PowerBI & Azure Reporting Data Platform Developer (for Dynamics365 Finance & Operations based Financial System), Autonomic Solutions is seeking a Power BI & Azure Reporting Data Platform Developer to support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) reporting and analytics initiatives for a public sector customer.

This hands-on role combines Power BI development, Azure data services integration, reporting data - dimensional modeling, and curated reporting platform development.

The ideal candidate has been working across Power BI reporting, data modeling & engineering, and ETL data analytics while collaborating with client stakeholders in a small, lean agile team., * Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.

• Create DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and reporting data models.
• Integrate data from Dynamics 365 F&O and selected external data sources.
• Design, develop and maintain curated reporting datasets and reporting data marts using Azure data services and SQL.
• Develop ETL/data integration processes using Azure Data Factory (or Microsoft Fabric Data Factory and onelake where applicable).
• Validate data accuracy, improve report performance, and support scheduled refreshes.
• Gather requirements, conduct user demonstrations, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
• Support deployments across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Follow data governance, security, and reporting best practices

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service).
• Experience with DAX, Power Query, and Power BI semantic models.
• 3+ years of SQL and relational and dimensional data modeling skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance data is highly preferred.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Factory (or similar Azure/SQL data integration tools).
• Understanding of reporting data marts, ETL/ELT processes, and data validation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative consulting environment.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Fabric Data Factory).
• Financial, budgeting, procurement, or operational reporting., * How many months or years of BI Reporting and Reporting Data Mart Development experience ?
