Job description
As a Sales Representative, you will work directly with the CEO and software development team to introduce our GIS software solutions to organizations that manage trees, vegetation, and natural resources. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving customer problems, and helping organizations improve efficiency through technology.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Generate and qualify leads
- Schedule and conduct sales calls, meetings, and software demonstrations
- Develop proposals, quotes, and sales contracts
- Present company products and services to prospective clients
- Maintain an organized customer database (CRM)
- Track sales activities and prepare regular reports
- Follow up on customer inquiries and opportunities
- Coordinate with the software development team to ensure customer needs are met
- Conduct product training for customers when needed
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows (less than 20% travel)
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated, self-driven Sales Representative to help expand our customer base and build lasting relationships with new and existing clients., * Previous sales or business development experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and earn customer trust
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred
- Experience selling software or technology solutions
- Familiarity with Esri GIS products and services
- Knowledge of arboriculture, forestry, vegetation management, or utilities
- Experience working with municipalities or government agencies, The ideal candidate is:
