Job description

As a SQL Developer at VigorCare, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our SQL databases. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective management of our data, allowing us to deliver high-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with our IT team and other departments to identify and implement database solutions that meet our business needs., * Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for various applications and systems within the organization

  • Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases
  • Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving issues, and implementing best practices
  • Collaborate with IT team members to ensure data integrity, security, and availability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain documentation of database structure, processes, and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions to support their business processes
  • Participate in database design and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management
  • Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery procedures
  • Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
