Systems Engineer

Description We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support day-to-day IT operations and contribute to a stable, efficient technical environment in Manchester, Connecticut. This role is well suited for someone early in their career who has a solid academic foundation, some hands-on support experience, and an interest in growing within infrastructure and systems administration. The position will involve resolving user issues, assisting with server and directory services, and partnering with senior team members on escalated technical matters., * Manage incoming support requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely updates through the ticketing process.

• Assist with user account administration, access management, and directory-related tasks within Active Directory.

• Support Windows-based environments by helping maintain desktops, servers, and routine system operations.

• Work with senior administrators to investigate and resolve more complex infrastructure incidents and service disruptions.

• Perform basic system checks, document findings, and escalate unresolved problems with clear technical detail.

• Help support end-user computing environments, including Microsoft Windows 10 devices and related configurations.

• Contribute to the upkeep of Microsoft Windows Server platforms by assisting with routine administrative tasks.

• Provide support for Citrix-based environments and help address access or performance concerns for users. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal education in information technology, computer science, or a related field.

• Experience with Linux and Windows Servers.

• Strong experience with PowerShell Scripting and SQL.

• Working knowledge of Active Directory, including Group Policies.

• Experience to Citrix technologies and remote access support concepts.
